crzegrl for President! Ok, really, Sean Trevis, geek genius, for State Representative

To keep with today’s theme of non-medically related stuff . . .

I just had a conversation with Patrick, during a post-night-shift, caffeine withdrawal haze, regarding my potential United States Presidential Bid, for either 2012 or 2016. (did I get those dates correct?) I want to run on mostly Internet based campaign, using the power of the viral nature of the beast. This is to keep from spending a gazillion dollars inappropriately, and prove the power of the web and therefore the power of the individual. Who says Web 2.0 is bad.

That, and I am sick of politicians.

Looks like Sean Trevis beat me to the idea. This fed up geek is running for state rep for his district in Kansas. I actually think I may just send him a contribution for shear genius.

We think alike don’t you know.

Oh, and I am digging his political views as well.

Good Luck Sean! Simple website. Simple politics. What a freekin’ concept!

As for my own running for office? I understand my bid for president will be challenging. Seems the fact that I have boobs shouldn’t be an issue by then, but my *gasp* atheism may be difficult to overcome. Funny how most atheists are better at tolerance than those who claim religion.

  1. Hi there,
I think it is funny that atheists claim to be against religion, when they in one way are more religious than some christians I know.
Religion being defined simply as ‘a specific set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons’ and atheists have a great number of set of beliefs. Not a dig, just an observation. Well, I thought it was interesting anyway (and who knows, it could just help in your upcoming ‘campaign’…?)
Hope you have success in getting back to Afghanistan, and that someone at B5 can help.
