At 0743, Thursday 31 August 2006 the helicopter lifted off with me aboard for my first mission as a flight nurse…
Although it was probably against some aviation rule, I snuck my tiny digital camera out of my flight suit pocket to capture the moment.
It looks very familiar to this photo I took of myself a bit over 7 years ago, when I was a flight medic in the Army.
I my career has finally come full circle. I am back where I belong.

Only a nurse could discuss the finer points of getting piercings (on herself, no less!) to heal and in the same post discuss taking the CEN Exam.
